So what skin tone do YOU have? Well… It’s somewhat easy to follow and find! These are some of the colours that are popular with some of the colour palettes.

You can see which set of colours that matches your wardrobe most of the times and that’s the colour that you should be right on the colour set! For myself, I think I suit Neutral colour set since all my shirts are very faded!

Now that you have a rough idea of your skin colour tone, here are 3 ways to find the perfect hair colour for you!

  1. Don’t match your hair colour to your skin tone!

Always go alternate colours for your hair as it will make your hair create a little contrast with your skin tone, bringing attention to your hair colour! If not, you may end up with too many shades of your skin tone colour!

A little like using a yellow colour pencil to write on white paper. It doesn’t create any contrast and you can barely read it!!

2. Match your hair tone to your eyes

The trick is to always match your hair tone to your eyes, because that’s where people will look at the most in your day-to-day life! Try to add a little bit of golden colour into your hair if you have hazel eyes and add copper highlights if you have green eyes.

For us asians, we most likely have hazel eyes so colouring with a tint of light-brown colour is good to match our eyes.

The brown shades are always good to do and easier to maintain. DID YOU KNOW? Choosing a darker hair colour instead of brighter colours can hide away your frizzy ends and make your hair look healthier?

3. Try colouring your hair orange!

Not full orange, like a carrot but putting a tint of orange into your hair with something like brown or dark red.

But why? It’s like putting an instagram filter on your hair! The warm helps your face framing a little more and distract onlookers from your dull-ness of your skin. I mean, look at her! Her hair distracts your from her skin!
